Small business loans disbursed under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) have fallen short of the target set for 2018-19. Against a target of ₹3-lakh crore, only ₹2.73-lakh crore was disbursed as on March 31, 2019, according to government data.
March domestic passenger (pax) traffic grew just 0.1% YoY as the industry reels from ticket cancellations caused by Jet Airway’s ongoing financial plight & grounding of Boeing 737 Max leading to capacity constraints.
Auto ancillaries would also be impacted on account of the slowdown in demand and production cuts across OEMs. Easing prices of key raw materials such as plastic, rubber (average 8% decline YoY), aluminum (14% decline YoY) are expected to provide some solace on the margins front.
